The very first time I climbed was at a gym here in Champaign, Illinois. From that day on, I was hooked. That was many moons ago. As the years have passed, I have learned to enjoy all the aspects of the climbing life. Respect and love of the outdoors, trust and camaraderie of a partner, level of commitment, physical and mental discipline… and so much more. It is with rich infusion of experiences that I would like to get more people involved with the ICA. I truly believe that through the ICA we can preserve our crags, maybe even acquire more crags, promote safer climbing, and even become better human beings. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve. Keep climbing!!!
